Roasted brussel sprouts

Ingredients

  • 400g brussel sprouts, halved

  • 2-3T olive oil

  • pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Heat fan forced oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

  2. Cover the baking tray with a non-stick mat or baking paper

  3. Place the brussel sprouts in the tray and drizzle with the olive oil. Add the pepper

  4. Roast for 20-25 minutes or until deeply golden.


TIPS: to add more flavour to the brussel sprouts, once cooked you may serve the sprouts with:

  • Shredded Pecorino cheese

  • Red pepper flakes + grated cheese + lemon zest

  • Balsamic vinegar + grated cheese

  • Tahini and toasted sesame seeds
